My Run to Safety - by Hunter

It was a dark and stormy night. My mum was telling me to wake up I said I want to sleep in. My mum said “wake up, otherwise you will die!” My mum said I had to pack all of favourite things in my biggest bag. I grabbed all the best stuff I had, the best clothes I had,  and I grabbed my motorbike. My Mum went in her car and we left our home. It felt scary leaving my home for a big reason. 

I saw my friend Scotty was on his quad bike. He came with us. 

We took a break because we were getting hungry. Me and Scotty played with the toys we packed. We stayed there for like about an hour then we looked right and saw a refugee camp. It looked a bit like a jail.  We decided to go in because we were so tired and hungry. We went there for 5 days. Then we ran away with my mum because it was getting scary.

We heard people yelling and fighting. We thought we should try and find somewhere better. For 2 days we were walking in the jungle. There was a random man in a tree. I grab my wooden sword yelling at him to try and scare him away. We made our way out of the jungle and we found a train. I hopped on it, my mum did too. I got so scared cos I was hanging off the edge and people started shooting at the train. We tried to hide together in the train to be safe.

We got to a town we saw some people who came running at us, i was frightened. We realised it was the New Zealand army who had come to rescue people. They said would you like to be safe in New Zealand?.  We said YES!. They took us to New Zealand on a plane, with other refugees. 

We got there safe and sound. We ended up in a nice home. I started school in New Zealand. It was called Waitohu School and everyone there was nice. I felt safe and happy.

 

 I am a wolverine. I work in Animal Town. I am the policeman but I'm actually an animal. Grizzly is my best friend aka Scott. I eat dead carcasses. My house is made out of wood. Grizzly lives quite close to me. When we were young we used to play catch the pieces of wood. One time a person visited, I nearly scratched them but Grizzly ran away and then he just came charging so everyone just ran. My house is full up with heaps of pieces of wood and carcasses. I love climbing on the wood. One of my friends works for the army. He's a black panther. I am a policeman. I've arrested 100 people, so has Grizzly. 

Tonight we are working the night shift and it is so much fun. We grabbed some food out of the fridge. I grabbed whip cream, Grizzly grabbed honey and one of my other friends, who is  a surgeon. Me and Grizzly took a walk in the park, it was a 2 hour walk. My legs were sore so were Grizzlies then we both went home. I watered the garden and gave my pet human a pat. He talked. I didn't know what he said. I said, “Talk to me in Wolverine.” Then I went to sleep and it was a nice sleep.

 Hi my name is Phoenix. I work for a ninja spy company And how universe we have powers not everyone but if you're lucky you have 2 powers. Every single day I've been climbing on something like a scraper scraper Every single day I've been trying to see if I have powers or not Dim one day I slept I fell and then I shot something out of my wrist It was like a grapple sound and then I use my hand and move it around and then I saw a Rocks moving a underneath Me I can move Rocks from my mind Can I use my Grapple in my hand to get back home with the power of to move Rocks Then I go back home I need some 2-minute noodles cause I was hungry Then the next day came I got so happy I was playing around or some small Rocks I was going to go outside to practice I went to the exact song place at the same kind Then I went to save some people from dead people It turns out I am the best superhero in the world and the end
