We actually won! The start of the volleyball game... The air was hot, the place was very sweaty. The first serve was the other team’s. His power serve was very strong. The left side got the ball. He passed it to the right side. He slammed it to the ground. The other people started with a serve and everybody sprinted towards the ball and pushed it over to the other side. They were getting ready to push it back over. Three people were jumping with their arms up - they looked like an iron wall. When they jumped they hit it onto the other side but I saved it. I hit back over and we scored a point. When they served they passed to one of their teammates. It hit the net so they tried pushing it over. I jumped so high… like I jumped over the moon. Then we scored another point. The next 10 minutes passed and the scores were tied evenly. It's the next point who wins. I felt like a gladiator that slays a tiger. The crowds cheered. We’d won!

The first day of the holidays I walked through the Waitohu Creek with shoes on because I didn't want to feel the sand right underneath me. The next day I went to my nana and poppas. We made chocolate chip Cookies they were really fluffy and tasty. I helped with cooking and baking, and my nana did the measuring. We watched a movie - It was very confusing. At the and I just kept on asking questions and my Nana said it was just made up. I watched One Piece for 20 minutes. I tried making my own swords out of wood. My mum threw them away the next 2 days. I went to a light festival in Otaki. I saw three of my friends and I just got two rows and a sparkling doot.
